Axiam's culture is one of "Can do, will do"
home

For large and small manufacturers worldwide who are (or aspire to be) world-class, we are a technical enabler who can help turn ideas into products. AXIAM is made up of three component manufacturing companies Diecasting, Engineering and Plastics. Operating from three separate sites of aprox. 16 500 square meters, currently employing around 250 people.

Our vision

To be the best, integrated solutions provider and manufacture in Australasia, specialising in the repetitive production of higher technical value components – primarily in metals and plastics using world-class people, technologies and processes.

History

The AXIAM Group is built on the accumulation of decades of experience in a cluster of specialist companies located in Wanganui. With origins in engineering for New Zealand’s world-leading agriculture industry and infrastructure development in the early 1900s, the Axiam Group has developed as an international centre of excellence in the component manufacture in metals and plastics.

Recently the group has merged its five companies into three. The last to merge was very recent, with ADX moving into a new purpose built factory on the Formcast site, now known as AXIAM Engineering. Before this Rimtec was combined with Inztep to form AXIAM plastics. Diemetrics changed its name to AXIAM Diecasting. Now all three companies are in walking distance from each other which makes it easy for clients with the “one stop shop” scenario.

“Our aim is to become a proactive, valued partner helping to innovate and build the success of your business.

John C. Oskam, Managing Director, Axiam Group
