Powder Coating
5 manual booths, two conveyor chain lines, one batch oven. Axiam Diecasting has developed a very successful proprietary method of masking for powder coating. This is primarily used for electronic enclosures where certain areas must be kept free of powder.
Anodising
Automatic rack handling, programmable rectifier. AXAIM DIECASTING has developed proprietary techniques for achieving a very hard coating up to 25-30 microns thick with high abrasion and corrosion resistance on Diecasting alloys.
In addition we are now offering clear, bright and black dyed cosmetic finishes on 5000 and 6000 alloys. Clear and bright anodizing to 10 microns and black to 50 microns. All Anodising can be sealed for added corrosion resistance use hot RO water sealing or Nikel sealing.
Burnishing
Three tub machines that provide the ability to brighten the surface of all alloys. The burnishing finish can be compared to chrome in look and feel.
Vibratory finishing
Range of sizes of tub and bowl machines, plus two continuous throughput vibrators.
Linishing/Polishing
To improve visual look of a casting Axiam Diecasting can use a variety of linishing machines to modify the surface as far as a high polish.
Impregnation
500 mm diameters x 500 high vacuum impregnation plant to enable sealing of aluminum castings to ensure pressure tightness.
Pretreatment
Full RoHS compliant pre-treatment of castings for powder-coating, added corrosion resistance and conductivity. AXIAM DIECASTING have opted for the Henkal Alodine NT-Eproducts for this treatment process. Our cartons are clearly labeled to signal compliance.
